Paul Goodman

Paul Roland Goodman, age 82, passed away January 7, 2022 at his home in Tucson, Arizona. Roland was born on December 11, 1939, in Pine, Arizona to Paul Lincoln Goodman and Mary Geneal Smith. Roland is survived by his children, Steve Goodman, Susan Goodman, Scott Goodman, and Sally (Goodman) Whetten; his 14 grandchildren, his 6 step-grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Roland is preceded in death by his father, his mother, sisters Mary Fern Goodman and Robin (Goodman) Cluff, his wife Judy Goodman and his dog Buster. Roland graduated from Tucson High School in 1957 and worked in his uncle and father's grocery store. When the store was sold, he worked in management for the new company until the 1970s when he left to run his own business. He worked in the trucking industry as an independent trucker until his retirement. Roland gained a love of travel and the open road from his parents and he continued to travel all over the US throughout his life. He owned a sailboat and sailed in the Pacific, Atlantic nd Gulf of Mexico. He was a licensed pilot and owned several airplanes throughout his life. Funeral services will be held on January 22, 2022 at the LDS Fairmount Chapel at 6150 East Fairmount in Tucson AZ at 11:00 a.m. Final resting place will be at Binghampton Cemetery.
