Jessica Rollins Higginbottom

Jessica Rollins Higginbottom was born on September 2nd, 1979, in Tucson, Arizona. She was the third of four children to Kent and Margie Rollins and graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School in 1998. Jessica was married to the love of her life, and a mother to three beautiful daughters. Jessica passed peacefully on January 10th, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Jessica’s pride and joy was her family, and she did whatever she could to be involved. Whether it was helping coach her daughter’s sports teams, taking on their friends as bonus children, or supporting her husband through his educational and career advancements, she was there. One of her greatest joys was being able to celebrate the recent promotion of her husband to Captain with a local fire department. She also had an artistic eye and enjoyed crafts, particularly redesigning and adding new life to old furniture. 

Jessica is survived, loved, and missed by her husband Tim Higginbottom, her daughters Hannah Rollins, Emma Higginbottom, and Stella Higginbottom. She is also survived, loved, and missed by her parents, siblings, mother and father-in-law, sisters in law, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Services for Jessica will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N Camino Pio Decimo, Tucson, AZ 85715. There will be a reception immediately following at The Barnyard Crafthouse and Eatery, 11011 E Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson, AZ 85749. We would like to take a moment to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. From our friends and family, to our fire department families, as well as the Salpointe and University of Arizona communities, you all have gone above and beyond to show your love and make sure we were not alone as we navigate this difficult time in our lives.
