Arthur Raymond Andrews

Arthur Raymond Andrews, 73, died peacefully on April 6, 2025, at home surrounded by family. He left behind a wealth of friends who enjoyed his kindness, generosity and sense of humor. Art was born in Charlotte, North Carolina but grew up in Wheeling, Illinois and moved to Tucson after graduation. He loved sports and played hockey, baseball, football and basketball as a young man. Baseball remained a favorite and he continued to play well into adulthood when golf became his passion. Retired from IBM after 25 years of service, Art and his wife Susan moved to north Idaho and have been snowbirds for the past 13 years. They were married in 1990 and enjoyed 35 years of love and friendship. Sports aside, Art was a live music fanatic. He loved concerts and attended hundreds of them throughout his life.

Art is survived by his wife, Susan Andrews; his sons, Jack Andrews, Jason Andrews and Jeremy Andrews; five grandchildren; and sister, Cindy Gardner. He was a loving Dad and Grandpa, a devoted husband, and a loyal friend and neighbor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
